We proudly announce that our PhD student Øystein Øvrebø received the 2nd prize for Best Business Pitch in the prestigious School of Health Innovation course on Entrepreneurship in Healthcare. This recognition highlights our academic community's exceptional talent and innovative thinking.

Elizabeth Surgucheva, a freshly graduated bachelor in biosciences, spent the summer at our lab putting theory into practice while participating in one of our research projects.

This past month, the University of Oslo (UiO) had the privilege of participating in an esteemed symposium hosted by the Forschungscampus Mittelhessen. UiO Core Facilities Advisory Board approved last week our "UiO:NEXT Norwegian Center for Nanoscale X-ray Tomography"  as a UiO Core Research Facility based on its unique technology offering.

Sigrid Haugen successfully defended her dissertation for the degree of Ph.D. (philosophiae doctor) : A study of adiponectin and adiponectin receptor agonist ADP355 on bone and orthodontic tooth movement.

Professor Fernanda Petersen at the Department of Oral Biology (UiO) has been awarded, together with her partners, a large grant from the Olav Thon Foundation. The grant was given the research project: «Born in the twilight of antibiotics: fighting antimicrobial resistance in preterm infants».
