With the ever-darkening autumn days, it's good to look back to the sunnier summer months when the biomaterials lab was taken over by our French intern students.

We are delighted to announce that Stefanie Linskens has successfully completed her bachelor internship at the Department of Biomaterials, scoring an impressive 8/10. Stefanie's time with us has been highly productive, and we couldn't be prouder of her accomplishments.

Usame Sevgi from Dicle University in Turkey joined our group for three months, bringing along some Turkish delight and an healthy appetite for science.

After a long wait, the borders opened this summer and we were able to welcome Erasmus students at our lab again. This summer, the biomaterials lab was taken over by our French summer interns.

Jean-Baptiste Sourbets from Polytech Nantes joined our group this summer to investigate the effect of cation doping on TiO2 scaffold properties.
