The applicant
The applicant applies on behalf of his/her group. Ph.D. students can apply and receive funding as part of a larger project.
Funding
The grant size is usually not above NOK 50.000. Within medical and natural sciences, the Nansen fund usually prioritizes support for operating expenses and equipment.
How to apply
Proposals are submitted through the UNIFOR web portal and consist of a CV, a list of publications, a two-page project description, and a budget. The link above to the Unifor website (in Norwegian only) for additional information.
