The goal
The Life Science Growth House can help you take the next steps if you have an innovative idea for a new product, solution, or technology.
There will be grant funding for up to 35 projects. UiO affiliated researchers (faculty, hospital, postdoctoral fellow, or Ph.D.) are welcome to apply.
Two categories for funding for researchers
Seed funding I
Up to NOK 50 000. A total number of up to 30 projects will be granted. The funding cannot be used for salaries.
The funding can be used for:
- Expenses for key experiments to move the idea forward
- Purchasing of services externally/internally for experiments/analyses, etc.
- Purchasing of services and courses from partners within our innovation ecosystem
- Consulting assistance
Seed funding II
Up to NOK 200 000. A total number of up to 5 projects will be granted.
A mentor will be assigned to the granted projects, and the applicants will therefore be evaluated on their interest in engaging with a mentor. The funding cannot be used for salaries.
The funding can be used for:
- Expenses for key experiments to move the idea forward
- Purchasing of services externally/internally for experiments/analyses, etc.
- Purchasing of services and courses from partners within our innovation ecosystem
- Consulting assistance
