The programme supports the establishment of long-term partnerships between Norway and Brazil, Canada, China, India, Japan, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, and the USA.

The overall aim of UTFORSK is to strengthen higher education for a sustainable future. 

The programme has the following main objectives:

  • strengthened international partnerships within areas of mutual and strategic interest between higher education institutions in Norway and the relevant countries 
  • enhanced quality and relevance of study programmes at the institutions involved

What can you apply for?

Projects awarded funding should lead to: 

  • development and implementation of joint educational activities 
  • increased mobility of students, including internships/work placements 
  • integration of higher education and research
  • strengthened involvement of non-academic partners

How to apply

The application deadline is 1st February 2021.

The Norwegian main partner must submit an application through Diku's application and reporting system, Espresso.
