ERA4Health - Nano and advanced technologies for disease prevention, diagnostic and therapy

ERA4Health has published a call on nanomedicine that must either cover regenerative medicine, diagnostics or nanotherapy.

The EU-funded ERA4Health Partnership brings together 33 partners and 27 funding organizations from 22 countries, with the common goal of fostering high-impact translational research for addressing public health needs.

Project proposals under this call will address multidisciplinary and translational research. The applications must cover at least one of the following nanomedicine areas that are of equal relevance for this call:

  • Regenerative medicine
  • Diagnostics
  • Nano-therapy

Beyond the research topics, the call lists multiple points that should be taken into account, including approaches to responsible research and innovation.

Eligibility

Only transnational projects will be funded. The following conditions apply to the composition of consortia:

  • A minimum of 3 eligible and a maximum of 5 eligible partners from at least 3 different countries participating in the call
  • The maximum number of eligible partners can be increased up to 6 or 7 if they include one or two partners, respectively, from the following participating countries: Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia and Turkey.
  • No more than two eligible partners from the same country participating in the call will be accepted within one consortium.

Funding

If the Norwegian participant is a partner, the maximum budget is 300.000€.

If the Norwegian participant has a coordinator role, the maximum budget is 400.000€.

The total budget for Norwegian partners in a single project is 400.000€.

The anticipated number of funded proposals is 4-6. Project partners will be funded by their relevant national/regional funding organisation. Therefore, eligible costs, funding rules and the type of studies allowed will vary between the respective funding organisations.
