The EU4Health programme has published new calls for proposals focusing on cancer and non-communicable diseases.

EU4Health

EU4Health is an ambitious and dedicated funding programme from the European Commission for 2021-2027 aiming at building resilient health systems in the EU. 

While Horizon Europe will focus on creating new knowledge, the EU4Health programme will focus on making the best possible use of this new knowledge for the benefit of citizens and health systems.

EU4Health has 4 overarching goals:

  • Improve and foster health in the Union
  • Protect people in the Union from serious cross-border threats to health
  • Improve medicinal products, medical devices and crisis relevant products
  • Strengthen health systems

Calls for proposals (deadline 21 February 2023)

The calls listed below are so-called action grants. Action grants have a funding rate between 60 to 80 % of eligible costs. Project funding range from 5 to 11 million Euro depending on the call.
