The purpose
Gemini Center is to build larger and more robust professional environments with higher quality, which will be better able to seize and develop new opportunities. Through this, the partners will increase the competitiveness and value creation for the community.
The Gemini Center can have several purposes:
- The partners join forces to develop new subject areas.
- The partners want to address major, interdisciplinary societal challenges.
- The partners use the concept as a platform to develop SFI / FME / EU applications.
- The partners use the concept to coordinate joint activities and laboratories.
Joint collaboration with business and the public sector in the form of networking and outreach seminars can be an additional motive for all Gemini centers.
Budget
A Gemini Center is approved for 4 years and the center gets 100,000 NOK per year. it is possible to renew the Center for an additional four years.
