NORPART shall enhance the quality of higher education in Norway and selected partner countries in the Global South through academic cooperation and mutual student mobility. The projects shall lead to:
- Strengthened partnerships for education and research between the partner countries and Norway
- Increased quality and internationalisation of academic programmes at participating institutions
- Development of joint educational activities
- Increased mobility of students from the partner countries in the Global South to Norway and vice versa
Eligibility
- The applicant must be an accredited Norwegian higher education institution
- The application must include at least one partner that is an accredited higher education institution in one of the NORPART partner countries. Selected institutions in South Africa are also eligible. A list of eligible countries and South African institutions can be found in Appendix 1 in the call.
- Projects funded in former NORPART calls may apply, and will be assessed on the degree to which the application clearly demonstrates how the proposed project is innovative.
Available funding
The projects may be awarded up to NOK 6 million. Maximum duration 5 years.
Application submission
Applications are submitted via the application portal Espresso. Applications must be written in English and the application must include:
- Completed application form in Espresso
- Letters of Commitment from all project partners.
- A signed version of HK-dir’s declaration of participation. The declaration should be signed by the head of the Department.
