The Distinguished Innovator Grant aims to accelerate commercialization of research findings and the development of novel technologies within sustainability or health.
Eligibility
The grant is aimed for senior faculty members or researchers with a proven track record within innovation. Furthermore it is required that the main applicant will act as an ambassador for innovation within academia, and engage younger researchers and the surrounding innovation ecosystem.
Funding
Each grant can be of maximum DKK 6 million for a period of 3 years.
Funding can not be used for the salary of the main applicant and co-applicant and overhead. Administrative support may account for a maximum of 5% of the total budget and must be included therein.
