Areas of support
The Grant seeks to support application-oriented research and to test ideas that may lead to the development of new medical treatments or health technologies, disease prevention, diagnostic methods, industrial biotech, or devices within Life Science.
Eligibility
The grant applicants can be faculty members, researchers, and students based at universities, hospitals, and other knowledge institutions in the Nordic countries. Projects from incubator development programs are also eligible.
Only a single Pioneer Innovator Grant is permitted for activities related to the same project, however, selected projects may be extended and awarded a supplementary grant for specific commercialization activities.
Funding
Granted projects can receive a grant of up to DKK 1 million for one year.
