Objective
The objective of the funding call is to support Pre-Projects for future Collaborative and Knowledge-building Projects that can help to resolve or tackle key societal challenges relating to antimicrobial resistance from a One Health perspective.
About the call for proposals
This call is your chance to apply for a pre-project for a Collaborative and Knowledge-building Project relating to antimicrobial resistance from a One Health perspective. In the pre-project, you can carry out various types of preparatory work, activities, and measures necessary to develop the project idea, and you can clarify important preconditions that must be met in order for the idea to be realized.
Requirements relating to partners
The partnership constellation must contribute to ensuring that the project as a whole takes an interdisciplinary and cross-sector approach from a One Health perspective. You should plan for collaboration between the disciplines of public health, animal health, food production, and the natural environment in the pre-project.
Already at the pre-project stage, you should prepare to include at least one public sector body or a business that has a clearly defined need relating to the project’s area of research. Including social players or end-users, business and industry, patient organizations and other organizations will strengthen the project’s relevance and benefits.

In the Collaborative and Knowledge-building Project that the pre-projects are working towards, the project must have at least 2 Norwegian partners that are not research organizations, also expects the main project to involve international collaboration.

The requirement of including 2 Norwegian partners does not apply for projects funded by these thematic areas.
