You can apply for a pre-project until 5 May 2021, and the applications will be considered as they are received.
This is the first call within the Health Pilot program, the current call is for pilot projects. Pilot projects shall lay the foundation for full proposals, however, it is not a requirement to have participated in the pilot call in order to submit a full proposal.
The deliverable for a pilot project is to submit a report which shall focus on the goals and ambitions for a full project. In addition, a planned consortium, the potential for value creation, and a research plan shall be described in the report.
The call is open for all thematic areas within health care, but two thematic areas are prioritized:
- The patient at home: New products and services in diagnostics, treatment (including clinical trials), and rehabilitation at home as well as new solutions for digital interaction between patients and the health service, including self-service solutions.
- Sustainable health service: New technological solutions that increase the efficiency of the health service through e.g. better and more efficient decision support, cooperation between services, area utilization, logistics, and use of personnel.
Eligibility:
- The consortium must include a private company registered in Norway, an industrial cluster organization, or an NGO. Representatives from Norwegian health care services must also be part of the consortium
Who is eligible to apply?
- Public sector bodies that are registered with a business register number in Norway.
- This call is open to companies that have been issued a business register number under the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises and carry out economic activity in Norway.
- Research organizations
- Patient organizations, cluster organizations, industry organizations, and user organizations that have a Norwegian business register number.
Funding:
The total budget for the pilot call is up to NOK 300.000. Full projects can be funded up to NOK 25 million.
100 % of all costs will be covered by RCN for the pilot project.
