Oral health after renal transplantation (completed)

About the project

The aim of the study is to record oral health in children who have received a renal transplant and to establish follow-ups for these patients in collaboration with the Public Dental Health Services.

This cross-sectional study will include children below 16 years involved in the HENT-study (Helse Etter Nyre Transplantasjon) and who attend a yearly follow-up at Oslo University Hospital. The examination will include recording of gingival, periodontal and dental conditions using established examination methods. Control patients will be recruited among healthy children.
