About the project
The data collection was completed in February 2019. The data collected has been used to assess the prevalence of periodontal diseases and to determine associations between periodontitis and systemic diseases.

The HUNT-study and periodontitis
In the large cross-sectional study HUNT4, comprehensive oral, radiographic and periodontal examinations were performed on almost 5000 participants.
