Clinic for General Dentistry – Children

The clinic cooperates with the Dental Health Service – Oslo Municipal Undertaking, and is responsible for treating children in the school catchment areas of Bjølsen, Bolteløkka, Ila and Sagene. This cooperation covers children between the ages of 0-5 and schoolchildren in grades 1-7.

Most of the treatments are performed by students under the supervision of tutors. Health care personnel may refer patients to the outpatient clinic for examination and follow-up where necessary of children in need of specialist pedodontic treatment. Parents/guardians may also contact us at their own initiative.

Ordinary dental treatment of children and adolescents is not provided by the clinic. Such treatment is provided by the public health service to all children and adolescents (0-18 years).
