Clinic for Specialist Treatment

The Clinic provides treatment to children and adults at specialist level in the relevant fields.

  • Orthodontics (treatment of irregular tooth irregularities)
  • Orthodontics and orthognatic surgery
  • Oral surgery and oral medicine Implant treatments
  • Prosthetics
  • Radiology

Inter-disciplinary specialist treatments can be coordinated between all of the fields of specialisation.

Treatments are performed mainly by dentists under specialist training and by specialists.

Student training is also conducted, and students perform their own examinations and treatments under the supervision of tutors. The Clinic has a cooperation agreement with the Dental Health Service – Oslo Municipal Undertaking, and is responsible for treating children in the school catchment areas of Bjølsen, Bolteløkka, Ila and Sagene The agreement covers children between the ages of 0-5 years and schoolchildren in grades 1-7.

The clinic also covers the children and adolescents (0-18 years) of employees of the Russian Embassy. For examinations and treatment that require specialist qualifications, health care personnel can refer patients to the Clinic for Specialist Treatment or to the following departments Department of Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine Department of Orthodontics Department of Prosthetics Patients must obtain a referral before making an appointment. Treatment availability will vary according to the level of specialist training programmes.
