Atomic absorption (AA) spectroscopy is a spectroanalytical procedure for the qualitative and quantitative determination of chemical elements. Flame AA Spectrometer uses the absorption of light to measure the concentration of gas-phase atoms. The analyte atoms or ions from liquid samples must be vaporized in a flame. The atoms absorb ultraviolet or visible light and concentration of the analyte is determined from the amount of this absorption.
