His Majesty the King's Gold Medal is awarded to young researcher awarded for meritorious research at the University og Oslo.
On the 2nd of September Christiane recived the award. It was awarded her for her PhD dissertation UV-induced functionalization of titanium surfaces with a polyunsaturated fatty acid for improved performance of temporary bone fixation devices. As a recipent of the award, Christiane may have a private audience with His Majesty the King Harald V of Norway.
