Guruprakash Subbiahdoss works a postdoctoral researcher in the Biofilm group at iNANO and has particular research interest in the prevention of biofilm formation on implant surfaces.
During his visit at our lab, he gave an interesting presentation on co-culture models he has developed to simultaneously investigate tissue integration and bacterial biofilm growth on implant surfaces. This miniseminar brought together a very interested crowd of researchers both from the Faculty of Dentistry and from Dirk Linke's research group at Department of Biosciences.
