Professor Jukka Pekka Matinlinna from the University of Hong Kong visited our department together with his PhD student Ding Hao on 31 October 2018 to discuss a joint research project on dental nanocomposites and their characterisation using nanoCT imaging.
As part of his visit, Prof. Matinlinna also shared his experiences on creating an openly available online course on Materials in Oral Health, and recorded expert opinions from Prof. Håvard Haugen and Dr Saad B Qasim on the current and future dental biomaterials as well as other related topics, such as medical technology and the potential of additive manufacturing in biomedical applications.
