The annual ERA-NET Marine Biotech “BLUETEETH” meeting took place at Svalbard, halfway between Norway and North Pole.  Janne E. Reseland concurrently also organized the International Workshop on Oral Degradable Biobarriers and with speakers from around the globe.

Zhu Hao from Huazhong University of Science and Technology joined our group for one and a half years to teach us about Chinese traditions and cuisine (and do a bit of science at the side).

Never before has any research group at our Faculty  had more success with research grant from the Research Council of Norway. Our Department  managed to obtain two large grants in the Nano2021 program.
