Our team's active participation was marked by three oral presentations and chairing two sessions focusing on Dental Materials and Biocompatibility, showcasing our commitment to dental research. One of the highlights was the presentation of collaborative work between the University of Zagreb and the University of Oslo, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in advancing dental research.

During the conference, our group engaged in stimulating discussions and explored future projects, particularly in developing functional composite materials with bioactive and antimicrobial properties. Collaboration with dental composite experts like Prof. Vlatko Panduric and Prof. Danijela Marovic from the University of Zagreb promises exciting prospects for the future.

Beyond the scientific program, the conference fostered an environment ouraging knowledge exchange, collaboration, and innovation. Engaging lectures, interactive workshops, and enlightening poster sessions inspired insightful conversations and paved the way for new ideas that may influence the future of oral health.

Moreover, this congress offered an opportunity to expand our professional network, establish fruitful collaborations, and make friendships with like-minded dental researchers. The beautiful backdrop of Rhodes, with its UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Town, added a touch of history and charm to the event. Exploring the medieval streets, monumental walls, and delightful local cuisine truly transported us back in time.
