The course structure for 2023 involved two modules conducted by BI in Oslo and a final exam at the Oslo Science Park. Participants were mentored by experienced business professionals and were required to develop a written business plan and present an investor pitch as their final exam. This approach aligns with the course's aim of equipping researchers and clinicians with the necessary skills and networks to transform their research ideas into commercially successful ventures. Øystein has also been awarded a large student entrepreneur innovation grant from Innovation Norway based on this technology.

Øystein's success not only brings honor to our Department but also underscores the potential impact of academic research on the healthcare industry. It demonstrates how innovative ideas can be nurtured and developed into business models with the potential to contribute significantly to healthcare advancements.

We congratulate Øystein on this remarkable achievement and look forward to his continued contributions to the field of health innovation. This accomplishment inspires our academic community, encouraging more researchers to explore the intersection of science and entrepreneurship.
