In addition to permanently employed professors on a full-time basis, research competence is available through part-time engaged researchers with advanced expertise within particular areas. For teaching purposes, several part-time clinical teachers are engaged.

The Department has one professor and two associate professors. The professor is Head of section and director of the postgraduate programme.
Research fellows
The Department has one employed doctoral candidate and one external.
Other staff members
Six part-time clinical teachers take part in training of the students.
