Lya Piaia currently works as a postdoctoral fellow in a project “Waste-to-Resource: Eggshells as a Source for Next-Generation Biomaterials for Bone Regeneration".
PhD in Chemical Engineering (2019, Federal University of Santa Catarina/Brazil) with Doctoral Internship in the 3B's Research Group (2018/2019, University of Minho), Master in Chemical Engineering (2014, Federal University of Santa Catarina/Brazil) and Degree in Industrial Chemistry (2009, URI-FW/Brazil).
Main interests are in Biotechnology, Tissue Engineering, Biomaterials, Additive Manufactured, Analytical Chemistry and Microbiology.
